London is in full swing at the moment, with the Olympic Games sparking off parties and events left right and centre. Last week, the night before I went to the Opening Ceremony, (click here for my Opening Ceremony Review) it was off to the Tate Modern’s new gallery for a fantastic party, celebrating London and welcoming our international visitors.
What we drank – Β Moet and Chandon Champagne and a choice of cocktails made from gin and ginger or mint and Belvedere vodka.
What we ate – The mini Yorkshire Pudding and roast beef canapes were quintessentially British, and the sweet treats of mini ice cream cones and eclairs were sinfully scrumptious.
I loved the dark eerie atmosphere in the gallery, which provided the perfect backdrop for the evening’s festivities.
I bumped into Bip Ling, and we compared our nail art :-p. Click here to see how she is doing with her bikini body progress.
The party was punctuated by three of music’s men of the moment – Paolo Nutini, Mark Ronson and a special surprise performance by Flo Rida. Β We danced the night away, and (hopefully) burned off some of those tasty treats
